It was unthinkable to imagine a full-fledged house being assembled in a single day. But in today’s world time is money and so every process under the sun has become more time efficient. So in the case of housing industry this process has become less time consuming due to the availability of park homes.

People are moving towards this trend of investing in park homes at an increasing rate. This is primarily due to the fact that constructing a conventional house has become too costly for them. On the plus side it adds to the many flavours of the housing sector.

But this is not the only reason. Park homes require little maintenance. They offer much secure environment and besides they offer the comfort which you couldn’t imagine living in a city.

And they are not gypsy establishments either. With so many benefits attached it is not surprising to read the statistics which say that every year this sector grows by 20%. So, sensible people are moving towards this option, more and more.

The target market is varied across the world but in UK the Park homes inhabitants are the retired pensioners who want to live a peaceful life that can substitute a condo in Bahamas. Some of the park home owners even have the age flooring set at 55 years. It is greatly popular with empty-nesters whose children have left homes and have relocated elsewhere and the couple is looking to down-size to save for their future needs.

They are no more scene as trailer trash. This sector is now regulated by the Dept. of Communities & Local Government so park owners cannot charge exorbitant amounts and they have to meet all safety standards too. National Park Homes Council and the British Holiday & Home Parks Association also make sure that the park home managers abide by the Park Homes Charter.

This industry has been regulated much of its need. The inhabitants have the same rights as people living in conventional houses. To oversee this information dissemination the government is in the process of holding road shows across the country to make the park owners and inhabitants aware of their rights and also to explain changes in the legislation to the local authorities along with all the stakeholders.

The convenience that comes with park homes is so much so that last year there were reports that Los Angeles airport was housing the air-crew; all 100 of them, right from the pilots to the mechanics in mobile houses few yards away from the airport. So Park Life is not just a weirder way to live it’s just a newer and more fun way to live.
