by Adam Evans

In 1988, Ed R. Mercer, the “Co owner of Vantana Del Pacifico”, as well as an environmentalist, an author and real estate developer came to Costa Rica with his wife. While on a vacation, Ed Mercer was fascinated by the oceanic views overlooking the untainted mountain ranges and thus decided there and then to make Costa Rica his home for the rest of his life. Mutually, Ed Mercer and his wife combined thousands of acres of breathtaking land. Their collective dream was to put together a one-shop-stop organization that would make buying and selling easy for the buyers interested in acquiring their real estate investment properties. Moreover, Ed Mercer solved the problems of small school children who had been going to miles earlier without buses and roads in Costa Rica. He generously provided the roads and buses in the region. So called Mr. Costa Rica for his similar pioneering humanitarian works, Ed was always a best example to individuals. Also he considers his enterprise, Edward R. Mercer Foundation, his greatest achievement to depart a better world for the posterity by meeting the twin goals of conservation of ecology and education. In next to no time, Ed Mercer formulated his own real estate company and provides all the dream home solutions, be it a vacation home or hunting for a nesting place after giving up work or on a retirement. The connectivity to all the outstanding cities of USA and Canada is just below five hours on an average for the reason that Ed R. Mercer has welcomed the declaration of an international airport, which is scheduled to be operational by year 2010.
