Many brides need to find a way to cut their wedding budget. The average wedding can cost more than a down payment on a home, but this kind of elaborate spending is not for everyone. The problem is, many brides lack the creativity or time to create a do it yourself wedding. Instead of spending your wedding day cooking and crafting, plan an affordable wedding the easy way. The quickest way to cut the cost of a wedding is to cut the guest list. It can be tough to do especially if family and friends pressure you into adding people. Soon you are hosting a wedding that tops out at several hundred guests and you barely know a single person in attendance. Worst of all, per person costs are so expensive, you may go into debt. To avoid having your guest list hijacked by others, plan a destination wedding. Having your wedding far away builds in control of your guest list. Typically, less than half of the people invited to a destination wedding actually attend. Your closest friends and loved ones will make sure they are there, but all of the people who were willing to drive a few minutes for a free meal are less likely to fly several thousand miles for that same meal. Consider unexpected locations like a variety of Maine real estate or Massachusetts real estate destinations. A New England wedding offers an elegant feel for brides who are dreaming of a traditional wedding.

Another popular wedding destination is Las Vegas. Vegas weddings are sometimes perceived as cheesy and cheap, but the weddings held at Las Vegas hotels are just as elegant as other weddings. However, it is a great way for a bride to cut her costs because she can limit her guest list without upsetting anyone. She can plan an elegant wedding that is fun for everyone and it does not have to have a Vegas theme.

There are great places to take wedding photos and many of the country’s finest dining opportunities are in Vegas. If you are looking for the destination wedding of your dreams, consider Vegas.

Another destination wedding option is the beach. Many beach resorts offer all-inclusive packages that provide couples with a ceremony, a reception dinner and dcor, and honeymoon accommodations. This is a great way to have an intimate wedding surrounded by those who love and support you the most.

Many places even include the cost of accommodation and travel for your immediate family and wedding party in the package cost. You can have the wedding of your dreams stress-free and for an affordable price. For a great budget wedding, consider heading out of town.
